The most important part of any design is clearly defining the design requirements.
Poor design requirements can lead to lost development time and increased design costs. We develop
the design requirements from the customer approved
Product Proposal. This process guarantees that we design the product that meets
your requirements.
Once the design requirements are finalized, then the electronic circuit
is designed that will meet the design requirements. Custom schematics are created using
EAGLE schematic capture.
During the circuit design process, electronic components are selected.
In addition to meeting the design requirements, factors like cost, availability,
delivery (lead) time, and additional manufacturers (second source) are considered.
For the more complex designs, we model our designs with circuit
simulation programs such as SPICE. After modeling the design, the printed circuit
board is designed.
We design the printed circuit board using EAGLE PCB. All designs are
hand routed to assure a low noise, problem free layout. Once the design is completed,
the design files are sent to the PCB manufacturer who etches the printed circuit board
and sends it to us.
If a custom product package is required, we will work with our
packaging associates to design a plastic or metal enclosure that will meet the
product requirements.
