The first thing we will do is sign a non-disclosure agreement. This
agreement guarantees that your ideas will be treated with the utmost discretion. If you have
an agreement, we will review it and sign it. If you don't have a non-disclosure agreement,
you can use our standard non-disclosure agreement.
Once the non-disclosure agreement is in place, we will get into the details
of what needs done. To do this, we will send you a product proposal, which explains how we
will develop your product. The product proposal includes cost estimates for various
development approaches that can be taken. Once you receive the proposal you can make the
decision on the cost versus perform tradeoffs. Typically the product proposal is modified
several times until the product performance and cost are defined.
When the product proposal is completed, we have enough information to
create a product estimate for the development of your product. The product estimate will include
the cost of developing your product, the projected completion date and the terms of payment.
When you decide you want to start the development of your product, you send us a signed
purchase order and we are ready to get started.
The next step, after your product has been design, is to build a working
prototype. The working prototype will confirm that the design functions as expected
and allows you to evaluate the design and how well it meets your expectations.
