At the end of the design cycle we will produce the required
manufacturing documentation. This documentation may include some or all of the
following;
Manufacturing Documentation
Bill of Materials (BOM)
PCB Files (Gerber Files)
Assembly Drawings
Test Procedures
Once the manufacturing documentation has been produced, we
can take care of the manufacturing for you. Following in our belief that the
most efficient way to develop a product is to use out-of-house associates, Innovative
Signals does not have in-house manufacturing facilities. We only build prototypes in-house.
This allows us to choose the type of manufacturing facility that best meets your
requirements. Small orders may be built by hand locally, while large orders may be
built in Mexico or elsewhere using automated manufacturing techniques.
We will oversee the manufacturing of your product, making sure all the components
are ordered, take care of scheduling the assembly and testing of the product. Since
we designed the product, we are the natural choice to take care of such manufacturing
issues as cost reduction, poor production yield, and part procurement issues such as
part obsolescence and unacceptable delivery times. In short, we can take care of the
manufacturing issues as they arise.
